As the Summer Solstice approaches, this extended practice offers space to settle the lingering energy of spring while beginning to attune to the rising light and vitality of the season ahead. We’ll move through the interplay of yin and yang — first engaging the fiery, expansive qualities of summer through aromatherapy and Vinyasa, then settling into cooling energy of grounded Yin postures, allowing steadiness to emerge.

Gentle hands-on assists, essential oils, and cold lavender towels are woven throughout, supporting a sense of ease as the practice gradually unwinds into an extended savasana accompanied by a sound bath of singing bowls, chimes, and gong. We’ll close the afternoon with a simple tea offering, creating space to integrate and land with a sense of calm and clarity as we move toward the fullness of summer.

A limited number of scholarships are available to qualifying individuals! Email claire@bellinghamyogacollective.com for more information.

*SLIDING SCALE PRICING GUIDELINES:

BYC’s sliding scale pricing helps keep our events accessible while sustaining the costs of running our studio and making it possible for our teachers to thrive. We ask you to choose the tier that best reflects your household’s current financial situation. Your selection is personal and honored without judgment — we trust you to choose what feels right for your circumstances.

Community – For those with limited financial flexibility who can meet basic needs, but where higher rates would limit participation
Sustainer – For those with reliable income and minimal financial strain; covers the cost of the program and helps keep it running
Supporter – For those with financial security who can comfortably contribute more; goes beyond covering costs — helps us grow, supports fair wages, and expands access for others
