Lisa Flick is a yoga teacher (E-RYT 500) and new teacher mentor, guiding a variety of class styles and workshops internationally for the past seven years. With over 900 hours of yoga training experience, she joined the team at the Bellingham Yoga Collective passionate about the combination of accessible and innovative sequencing with strength and mobility practices, all honoring the roots of yoga. Lisa's teaching style and philosophy both stem from deep inspiration during her first 500-hour Hatha teacher training and successive vinyasa trainings that explored modern anatomy knowledge and other current yoga topics. The conversation on yoga is exciting and Lisa ignites curiosity in each student to explore the way their practice serves them most on their path to self discovery. Students can expect strong physical challenge and the art of asking questions to create freedom in mind and body. Additionally, Lisa encourages deeper dives into the practice through specific mindfulness work where we can link personal psychology to practice and uniquely cultivate what we put out into the world. She is a close student of Ted Grand, Jessica Robertson, Joe Barnett, Frank Jude Boccio, Dina Tsoulhas, Kam Tye Chow, and Francesca Cervero...and is thrilled to be on faculty for this extensive and unique 200-hour teacher training!
