Join Christina Sell or Mackenzie in community for our annual Thanksgiving morning practice to open your heart & deepen your sense of gratitude. This practice will be devoted to honoring and acknowledging those whose traditional territory we have come to work, live, and practice on. All proceeds will go to Children of the Setting Sun, a local Indigenous-led nonprofit that uses storytelling, education, research, and film to amplify Native voices and support future generations. Sacred Roots provides culturally appropriate wellness programming for victims of violence, frontline workers, and community partners of Lummi Nation and other Indigenous members locally.
Classes are open to all levels. Donations will be collected at the door in the form of cash, check, venmo, and credit card. Contributions of any amount are warmly welcomed and appreciated! Pre-registration is highly recommended.
