Susan D’Onofrio, an Anusara-Inspired Yoga Teacher has been practicing and teaching yoga for over 30 years. She is also a Certified Engaged Mindfulness Meditation Facilitator. She studied many different types of yoga before she discovered Anusara Yoga and believes that Anusara, with its heart-lifting philosophy of seeing the good in everything, allows yoga to be more accessible and enjoyable for beginners as well as long-time students. Susan feels that yoga can enhance one’s journey of self-discovery. She encourages students to experience life in general as a reflection of their practice on the mat. 

Her training as a Mindfulness Meditation facilitator deepened her awareness that everyone struggles with life at some point that and having a consistent practice is so helpful in maintaining a sense of inner balance and peace.

Beginners and long-time students will find a gentle practice that is accessible and enjoyable. There are intermediate variations for those who want more challenge and depth, however, the class is definitely non-competitive. Her approach is gentle, supportive, patient, and enthusiastic.

Besides yoga, Susan enjoys gardening, hiking, camping, and time with her family, especially her little grandson.
