Letting Go: Yoga & Writing Practice
A 2-Hour Yin Yoga, Guided Meditation & Contemplative Writing Workshop
with Kendall Tetsworth & Brenda Miller
Sunday | April 19
1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Location: Granary Ave Studio
Investment: $25
What does it mean to let go—of expectations, control, or even the people we love? This workshop offers a gentle space to explore presence, impermanence, and love through both movement and writing. Inspired by Brenda’s forthcoming collection Love You, Bye: A Daughter’s Journey in Essays and Poems, which reflects on caring for aging parents, we'll create a contemplative space where movement opens the body and writing opens the heart.
We’ll move together through Yin yoga sequences, followed by short, guided writing prompts. The long-held poses help soften the body and quiet the mind, creating space for reflection on memory, gratitude, and release.
Open to all levels — no yoga or writing experience needed, just a willingness to be present. This workshop may be especially meaningful for those navigating caregiving, grief, life transitions, or anyone craving a reflective pause.
