Drawing from rich personal life experience, yoga philosophy, Ayurveda, and contemporary understanding of the body and mind, her approach is infused with wisdom, intuition, and compassion, offering practices that nourish both body and soul. Gentri believes the relationship with the self is the foundation for all others and creates spaces of acceptance and authenticity where students can listen inwardly and honor where they are on their own unique path.

Gentri completed her first 500 hours of yoga teacher training in 2009. After teaching yoga full time for 12 years, she completed an additional 850 hours of training in yoga therapy in 2024 through the Optimal State Yoga Therapy program. As a Yoga Alliance continuing education provider and leader/creator of multiple yoga teacher trainings and workshops, Gentri has worked with countless people of different backgrounds, supporting students and clients in self-discovery and empowerment.

As a licensed massage therapist since 2015, she draws on her knowledge of structural anatomy as well as common physiological ailments and injuries to support her clients and students in the physical realm. This training supports her comprehensive approach to healing and complements her work as a yoga therapist and teacher.

Outside of her work, Gentri is a mother of two, a musician, and an adventurer who believes in tending to the whole person- body, mind and spirit. With a passion for spiritual study, herbalism, and nature, her approach to wellness is rooted in a genuine desire to help others navigate their own healing journeys with wisdom, care, and understanding.
