Weaving Chinese Acupressure and Meridian Massage Therapies into her work, Raizelah's bodywork blends the wisdom of Eastern healing arts with Western massage modalities. She has over 20 years working not only as a massage professional, but also a massage educator, teaching in massage certification programs, training in wellness centers, and offering continuing education classes.
Raizelah's work extends beyond healing touch. She is certified in Aromatherapy, Western and Chinese Herbology, and as a Yoga instructor. Her work with clients is integrative. Her approach to health is well-rounded and holistic. She compliments your bodywork session with aromatherapy, yoga suggestions to address your areas of constraint, and may offer information about herbs to support your vitality. Raizelah specializes in Chinese Acupressure and Eastern Massage modalities, with a focus on cultivating free and abundant Chi (energy) flow as the foundation for your health and well-being. With a deep understanding of the Chinese Five Element approach to health, Raizelah is able to address not only muscular-skeletal dysfunctions, but also organ system imbalances, and complex or chronic health conditions.
Raizelah's experience includes work with injury treatment, massage for athletes, prenatal and postnatal massage, oncology massage, lymphatic drainage massage before or after surgery, and an East-West bodywork blend to increase your vitality, to resolve underlying Chi imbalances and to improve health.
Raizelah sees herself as not just a bodyworker, but also an educator: a health educator with clients, and massage educator among bodyworkers. Raizelah has a passion for teaching and will support your healing journey by sharing from the wealth of resources she has acquired through her lifelong journey of studying the Eastern healing arts. Raizelah is also a Board certified continuing education provider through the National Certification Board in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. She continues her studies now at the Bellingham Yoga Collective in their Advanced Yoga Teacher Training.
