Modules

  • Advanced Assisting

    APRIL 20

Assisting is back, but our skills may not be! Join us to refresh and review foundational assisting practices, discuss the ethics of touch, and learn advanced assists. You’ll also have an opportunity to practice assisting in a “real world” class style format and give and receive feedback. You’ll leave feeling confident and empowered in guiding your students with safe, supportive hands-on assists. (4 CEUs)

  • Language that Empowers: Refining Your Voice in Teaching

    MAY 18

The difference between an average yoga class and an impactful one lies in the teacher’s ability to deliver complex information in clear, concise, and supportive language. Jacque and Kelly will help you demystify empowering cueing and common pitfalls in the way classes and cues are languaged. Get ready to listen and speak with newfound clarity! (4 CEUs)

  • Advanced Theming

    JUNE 1

Refine your class preparation beyond postures and into the subtle body. Learn how to weave the thread of your teaching inspiration throughout a class rather than bookending a class with a start and finish that lacks inspiration in the space in between (very common in new teachers). This skills shop is to deepen the ability to deliver a strong energetic theme throughout the arc of a class. (4 CEUs)
